DOENI have called for comments in relation to proposals to scrap Built Heritage Grant Assistance.
Under plans set out in the DOENI in Department of the Environment Consultation on the Draft Budget 2015-16 grant assistance would be terminated to many of the schemes essential to the conservtion of Northern Ireland’s built heritage.
DOENI to scrap Built Heritage Grant Funding in 2015 Draft Budget
Amongst other things, the proposed budget for DOENI will see termination of all of the following grant assistance schemes:
- Listed Building Grants
- National Trust Grant
- Ulster Architectural History Society Grant
- Townscape Heritage Initiative Grant
- Community Access Grant
- Community Places Grant
- PLACE Grant
- Natural Heritage Fund
